Altar servers are important; Altar servers support the celebration of the mass by providing discreet and seamless support to the celebrant in order to allow the priest to focus on the liturgy and not the logistics. They assist the priest before and during Mass. They light candles, carry the Processional Cross, hold the Sacramentary, and ring bells. The altar servers learn the Order of Mass, prayers, responses, and postures. They are an integral part of the Celebration.  Contact St. Theresa’s Church to get involved.
